Random Tuesday Thoughts: Dora, Bread & Earthquakes.

It's time for Random Tuesday Thoughts, and as I have said before...I refuse to use the little ugly purple button that everyone else uses. It just doesn't go with my color scheme :) Don't hate.

Yesterday was such a beautiful day. Today, not so much. It's March 2nd, seriously...enough with the snow already.

How about there is only 37 more days until I get to see my brother! I can't believe that he is almost, officially, a Marine!

Bree gets confused when Dora the Explorer comes on in the morning, because during the intro to the show they show Diego from Go Diego, Go!. So she gets all excited and says, "DIEGO!" and then I say, "DORA!" and then she says, "DIEGO!" and then I say, "DORA!" and then she...well, you get the picture.

I get nervous just thinking about making myself an appointment at the OBYGN. I do not like going to the doctor, and I do not like thinking about going to the doctor. Grrr....

Is it Spring yet?

Today would be the type of day that I would like someone to deliver groceries to me. I just need a few things, Bread, fruit, that type of thing...but since there is an evident winter storm heading our way in a couple of hours...I'm sure the crazies have already raped the store shelves of any bread it may have had. Nevertheless, I have to bundle myself and Bree up to at least try it. Grrrr....I hate Winter.

Can there not be an earthquake anywhere on Earth without assuming that the end is near? It is really starting to piss me off now whenever there is an earthquake, or whatever...."Oh it's the end of times." or "We're living the book of Revelation." I know God said that there will be signs...but a few natural disasters here and there is hardly enough. I don't know why it makes me so mad...it just does.

I've been enjoying food for once in a very long time. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Ice cream at 10 o'clock at night, bad.

Is it Summer yet?

You can find the rest of my Biltmore Pictures by clicking here. Biltmore was such a beautiful place, if you have never been...I would suggest going.

How is your Random Tuesday going?

Totally wish spring was here. It is snowing today, ugh. Oddly enough it is supposed to be 56 on Saturday. I also hate going to OBGYN, almost as much as I hate the dentist.
Wow, Semper Fi to your brother!

Oh my random Tuesday is going great. Took a ride on the Carnival of Idiocy and all.

Great that you get to see your bro soon and those pics are great!

Just over a month til you see your bro!! How exciting! Seems like it's going by pretty fast. :) Why does going to the OB have to be so awkward?! I hate sitting on the table only wearing a thin cloth poncho waiting for an hour before the Dr. finally comes in. Ugh, just get it over already!

Yes, where is Spring! Bring it on already, we are up to our necks in the snow with no end in sight!

Although, after reading your post, I'd rather have the snow than an earthquake!

So very very sick of winter. Drives me mad. At least we aren't getting snow, though. I can be thankful for that, at least.

And, yeah, earthquakes happen. They've always happened. I live in SoCo for many years...they happen, people! I'm with you.

My Obgyn is terrible to get into and you have to make appt for like 2 months later. I on the other hand am terrible about facing these appts and by the time the appt comes around I get nervous and cancel the appt! Ack! Then I have to reschedule and wait yet again for another opening. I am my own worst enemy. There comes a point where I have to buckle down and just face the music, but I do so hate that darn appt!

ARGH, I am sick of winter. Actually, Top 3 Thursday is about just that topic this week-- I guess it's on everybody's minds these days.

I loved your Biltmore pictures-- would you believe I've lived within a 3 hour drive of that place for years and have still never been?

Just wanted to tell you that your blog button isn't working-- hasn't been for a few days. Not sure if it's a problem with tinyurl, but it's not showing up on the new blog's "about me" page either!

You get back on this blog THIS INSTANT young lady and tell us your redneck story! That was a tease comment if I ever heard one (said by the woman who made people think she was PG today by the title of her blog post!).

Oh the thought of going to the doctor makes me so anxious. And my stomach is in knots the day of.

Those pictures are gorgeous! Can I ask what kind of camera you use?

That is not redneck at all!!! I stopped and took a test (when I was already 7 weeks along!) in a Wendy's bathroom. I was on my way out of town, and was going to tell friends about my pregnancy, and I wanted to be "sure". LOL!

What is with this weather? Dh was in Raliegh today and was in a bad car accident due to the slippery road. He's okay, but the truck is almost totalled.

I hate going to the OB/GYN... hate it so much I haven't been in about a year and a halfsies. Gotta do that.

It's nice here today. I wish it would stay like this forever (and ever... and ever).

Good for you for making the appt. It's been like a year and a half since I went to the OBGYN. :s

Hahah. It's cute that Bree gets confused about Dora.

And yeah Spring is kind of here!! I walked around without a jacket on today! It was 2 degrees, but sunny and gorgeous.

It will start soon, I promise!

I think we're all done with winter. Too bad winter isn't done with us. This earthquake stuff is so scary. We had a small one in NJ recently from what I hear.
