Longest Week EVER!

Surprisingly, the last week has gone by sooooooo slooooooow. Seriously, I haven't known what day of the week it is or what the actual date has been since we got home for Parris Island last Friday. I have had an eventful week though, which generally makes your days/weeks go by faster; that didn't apply to this week though.

Monday night we went to a baseball game. Always one of my favorite things to do during the Spring & Summer, and it was super special this time because we went with my entire family, my newly Marine Brother included. Even if you're not the biggest baseball fan in the world, baseball games are always fun to go to. I can't honestly say that I have ever really watched a game, when I've been there. It's mostly just talking and getting fat off of ball park food. Mmmm boiled peanuts :)

Tuesday I spent most of my day by the pool with Breezy, and no sun block. Bree was covered, me...not so much. That was a decision that I regretted Tuesday night. Sunburn is NOT cool (no pun intended).

Tuesday night, Paul went to play golf with his cousin, so Bree and I hung out at the house and had a girls night. This included popcorn and back to back episodes of Spongebob Squarepants. Much fun was had!

After having neglected to clean, or do laundry for several days...Paul asked if we were moving. I was like, no...why? There were no clothes in his dresser, and there was stuff everywhere. So I decided that Wednesday should be dedicated to cleaning and doing laundry. Ugh. Poot on it.

And now it's Friday...

We found out today that my Brother would not be getting the 7 day extension, and he'll be leaving again on Tuesday. That's kinda sad. Ten days is not a long time if you really think about it, but I know that he is probably ready to get back. I know that I probably would be. At least this time we'll be able to talk a little more often, but still...I missed my little Brother way too much over the last three months and now I won't be seeing much of him at all over the course of the next 4 years or so. I am proud of him though. So proud, I'm speechless.

I am sorry that I sort of freaked out on you guys, and went on a bloggy vacation all of the sudden...but I felt like it was something I should do. I had a lot of stuff to get caught up on, and to do...and I just needed to break. I'm not back full time yet, but I will be dropping a few posts here and there. I start p90x Monday, and I promised that I would be blogging about that! I am super excited too!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Stay safe :)

Boiled peanuts?

I thought about it alot and along with you, I am going on vacation soon. Not sure at what point, maybe in June or so. I have alot planned but I am getting burnt to a crisp. Rather take a month off than stop altogether.

Have a great weekend!

I understand the need for a break. I've been sort of feeling that way lately, too. Maybe it's all the activity that comes with spring. Winter is easy. What else are you going to do? I feel my time getting zapped from every direction!

Glad you had such a great week!
