Gonna Build Me an Ark!

noahs ark Pictures, Images and Photos

It started raining, again, late yesterday afternoon. Not just sprinkles, or passing showers. I'm talking an all out, raining cats and dogs, dam busting, river in my back yard, rain. The rain was so clearly audible as it beat the roof of our apartment. I immediately though of Noah and the Ark, and thought that maybe I should start gathering blue prints together to build an Ark or boat if this rain continues. I'm still waiting on the animals to start gathering two by two. Who says the earth couldn't be flooded in 40 days? Atlanta flooded in just a few hours!

Lots of rain here too (Ohio). It brought with it the Fall weather which I am LOVING:) Open windows and mums on the porch...

Well, it was rather chilly today, but tomorrow its going to be back in the 80's. We really don't have a Fall in S.C. Oh well.

We're baking out here in the Pacific Northwest. Hubby and I were just talking about how we're missing the fall rains that we normally enjoy this time of year. Though it doesn't really flood here, just warm sprinkles in September.

I'll pray a little sunshine your way!

Alabama here...haven't seen the sun in two weeks. It finally came peeking out from behind the clouds yesterday evening and my 5 and 2 yr old asked me, "What is THAT mommy!" That's how much rain we've had.

You have an award waiting for you over at my blog!

I have great news! Today is a beautiful day, and the sun is shining just as bright! It actually feels like Fall outside :) It only floods around here, because we have such a long period of time where it doesn't rain, so when it finally does rain, it rains cats & dogs, and it doesn't soak into the ground. Oh well...getting used to it.

& Nikki, I felt the same way when I saw the sun peek out of the clouds this morning! :) Thank you for the award!!

How is the water level now? Are things back to normal yet?

Just stopping by to let you know that I've given you an award...and it seems I'm not the only one! That's good-you deserve them all =)

Stop by and pick it up when you get a chance.

I'm pretty sure the water levels have all dropped. We didn't personally get any flooding, which I am thankful for, although Saturday...I wouldn't have been surprised!

Yay!! I got another award! Woo hoo! Thank MrsM & Nikki! Y'all are awesome!
