Don't Blink! You'll Miss Everything!!

I can hardly believe it is already Friday...again!. I can hardly believe that this time next week, Santa will have already come and gone, and we'll all be busy playing with our toys and gidgets and gadgets. I can hardly believe that in 2 weeks, 2009 will have left, and 2010 will have arrived. When I was a child, time crept by much slower than it does now. I remember when an hour felt like a decade. I remember when a year felt like 50 years. The only part of my childhood that did seem to fly by, was when we went on Family Vacation to the beach every year. Some how seven days seemed like two. I always thought that there must be some type of time warp on the coast, that made time go faster. Anyway, that is beside the point. The point is that 2009, all 365 days of it, feels as though it flew by in just a few weeks.

The Hubs and I finally get to go Christmas shopping by ourselves on Saturday Night. We haven't had a "date night" in quiet a while, and quiet frankly...Bree has been driving me nuts lately. I need a break. I hope to finish up her Christmas tomorrow night, although, we have probably gotten her enough, I can't stop buying her stuff. This could be a major, potential problem.

This weekend, we are supposed to be getting some snow (I doubt it), but everyone is evidently excited about it. I'll believe it when I see it. That doesn't mean that it's not cold though, because it is freeeeezing and it is yucky, rain outside!

Only a few more months until I'll get the warm sunshine back, 70 degree temperatures, and I can slip into my flip flops again!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm, and get that Christmas shopping done if you haven't already!!

Only 6 more sleeps until Christmas Eve!! Holy Crap!

..Samantha
