This afternoon, while watching The Dark Knight (mmm, Christian Bale), I began thinking about if Superman and Batman were to face off...who would win? This is an old argument in our household. I think that Superman would win, although Batman is definitely more attractive, and Hubby thinks that Batman would win by a long shot. My argument being that Superman could throw a bus on top of Batman, and Hubby's argument being that Batman could have some kryptonite in his little gadget belt and take Superman down fast! What do you think? Leave your answer in a comment! And remember, Chuck Norris is not an option :)

I'll have to go with Superman. He has actual powers, where Batman just has lots of cool toys.
Oh gosh, I have no idea. I'd probably have to say Batman just because Christian Bale is more attractive and manly than Tobey Maguire :p

Hands down Batman. And here is my reasoning. Superman is "The Man of Steel". He's an Alien, right? Ok, so he should kick Batman's hiney. BUT. Batman is going to kick his butt because he is just badass. Plain and simple. Superman wishes he could be as cool as awesome as Batman.
Chuck Norris however would whoop up on both of them with one hand tied behind his back.
I am sorry to say it would have to be Superman because he is stronger, though I personally like Batman or rather he actors who have played him.
Superman hands down. He could fry Batman from a mile away with his laser eye thing. Unless... Batman had kryptonite in his utility belt. Then.. he might have a fighting chance.
Superman all the way. Plus, red and blue are my favorite colors, so he has a prettier costume.
this is epic and at first you might think superman because he has super powers.... but old batman has brains.. I think its a tosh up but in the ten round batman but TKO.. kryptonite punch to the heart
Superman is an alien and has special inate powers. Batman, who I adore, is a man skilled in combat as well as posesses awesome weapons. he is cunning and crafty too.Superman's weakness is kryptonite (green) and his added naivte. I think Batman's intelligence would help him find a way to utilize the kryptonite to his advantage thus destroying Superman. I look forward to the upcoming film!
I adore Batman, but unfortunately, I don't think he just has kryptonite laying around....
Assuming that the fight will spontaneously break out in a dark alley, Superman would have the upper hand.
