Turns out the AutoFocus (AF) was damaged during the fall. I can manually take a picture, but not automatically. Thankfully, Canon placed the motor for the AF inside the lens instead of the body of the camera, so if need be, the lens is the only thing that I will have to replace (still 200$). Not the whole body. I did sigh with relief when I realized that. Still, I laid hands on the camera and prayed that God would fix it. I know He can. I haven't checked it this morning, but I hope that by some miracle, it will be in the perfect condition it's been in since I bought it (just 2 months ago).
The day was pretty crappy after that. UNTIL...I cut up a Granny Smith apple, got me some peanut butter out of the cabinet and watched 2 hours of Desperate Housewives. I've become addicted to that show :) Somehow, the day turned around at that point. I was thankful for that, because my Dad called and invited us to go out to eat with them for my Mom's birthday. So we did. I missed "House" last night, but I can watch it online. Nothing can replace time with family!

P.S: Next time you make yourself some coffee, sprinkle some Pumpkin Spice in the grounds. It's delicious!

OUCH! Sorry about your camera. =(
As for missing House, I HIGHLY recommend DVRs. Seriously SO worth it!
I pray to God that the lens only needs to be taken apart and put back together. I hope I don't have to buy a new one, but if I do...it's better than having to buy a whole new camera!
I should invest in a DVR b/c that's my favorite show EVER and I definitely missed it :(
